Unpack the Quack! 2012
University Housing is organizing Unpack the Quack, a volunteer move-in assistance and welcome program for residence hall students and their families. On September 22, 2011, volunteers will serve as UO ambassadors as they help students unload vehicles and move into their new campus home.
We want you and your organization to be a part of this new UO tradition!
This volunteer opportunity is a great way for you to interact with new UO students and families and show your organization’s or department’s UO community support and spirit. Volunteers will also receive a t-shirt and a complimentary meal in Carson Dining.
We ask volunteers to work one 3.5-hour shift that day. We will try to put you in your choice of 8:00–11:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., or 2:00–5:30 p.m. If you can volunteer for more than one shift, please note that on your application. Faculty, staff, alumni, and other campus partners can also volunteer, or choose to participate as supporters. For more information and to sign up as a supporter, please click here.
